Do I need a visa to enter Uganda?

Most visitors require a tourist visa before entering Uganda, although some nationalities are exempt for short stays. Visa rules can change, so please confirm the latest requirements on Uganda’s official immigration portal or with the nearest Ugandan embassy before travel.How do I apply for a visa online?

Once approved, the approval letter is sent to the email address used during application. Print it and present it with a valid passport or travel document at your port of entry. Do I need travel insurance?

Yes. We strongly recommend arranging comprehensive travel insurance before your safari. Your policy should cover medical care, emergency evacuation, baggage, cancellations and any activities included in your itinerary. We can also advise on local insurance options where appropriate.

What happens in case of an accident or medical emergency on tour?

All clients/tourists want to get the best experience and value for money for their Gorilla tours in either Rwanda or Uganda. The cost of a gorilla trekking permit depends on the country you visit. In Uganda, permits are USD $800 per person, while in Rwanda they are USD $1,500 per person.
